Loudoun County's Newest Vineyard & Winery
Passion & Family
You could start a vineyard and winery from scratch because it’s cool. We did it because we're passionate about it. We love that good wine and food brings family and friends together to share stories and laughter. We love the mountain views, crisp clean air, neighboring farms and vineyards in the valley below. Visit us, become our friends, have some of our wine, and you’ll get it too.
Named after our maternal grandmother, this 2017 Petit Manseng dry varietal wine is bright, fruit forward, citrusy, was aged in stainless steel, no oak, for about 6 months and is perfect for Fall. It pairs well with seafood, chicken, and lighter cheeses. Enjoy!
Nick-named after the Murphy side of our family, this 2017 Chardonnay varietal wine is bright, fruit forward, citrusy, with hints of pome fruit, was aged in stainless steel, no oak, for about 6 months, and is a wonderful Fall wine. Best in Class and Gold medal winner in the 2018 Loudoun Wine Awards.
Named after our sister, we produced this white wine in 2017 from Chardonnay grapes from our leased vineyard. It expresses pome and citrus fruits, is creamy in the mouth (from secondary fermentation), and was aged in new French oak for about 6 months. Pair this wine with softer cheeses, chicken, fish, seafood, or enjoy it all by itself.
Named after our grandfather, we produced this red wine in 2017 from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from our leased vineyard. It is a lighter Cabernet, expresses red fruits (cherry and strawberry) and oak and fruit tannins, was aged in French oak almost 12 months, and can be enjoyed now or rested. Pairs well with cheeses, lighter meats, and chocolates. Enjoy.
SOLD OUT. Named for our family, this lighter 2016 Bordeaux blend was made from Merlot (the largest component wine), Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s smooth, easy to drink, has red fruits, mild tannins, and was aged 13 months in French oak. Enjoy it all by itself or with lighter meats and cheeses.
SOLD OUT. Named for our late father, this 2016 BA varietal Cabernet Sauvignon wine is smooth, round in the mouth, has a great finish, deep red color, and black fruits, and was aged 13 months in new French oak. Think steak, bleu cheese, and chocolate.
La Famiglia (2017)
Named after our family, we produced this Bordeaux blend in 2017 from Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from our leased vineyard. It has deep red color, expresses red fruits and oak and fruit tannins, and was aged in French oak almost 12 months. This wine pairs well with cheeses, lighter meats, chocolates, or nothing at all. Cheers!
Named for this vineyard/winery undertaking, this "BA" (ask us) 2016 Bordeaux red blend was made from Cabernet Sauvignon (the largest component wine), Petit Verdot, and Merlot grapes. It’s smooth, round in the mouth, has deep red color, black and red fruits, and was aged 13 months in new French oak. Enjoy this wine with heavier dishes, beef, stronger cheeses, and chocolate. Gold medal winner in the 2018 Virginia Governor's Cup & Loudoun Wine Awards competitions.
